"Keep calm and refill your lantern."
For simplicity's sake, I decided to change my username on dA to auraboo, which is the name I'm using on my main social media account (Tumblr) anyway, so this ought to make matters easier. Also, my Instagram account now bears the url auraboon, so it should make finding my art somewhat more logical.
Also, I've deleted both my Society6 and Redbubble accounts today and from now won't have anything for sale online. This is simply because it just wasn't worth the trouble; I don't have a large enough following here or elsewhere online to even make sales, so I'll just provide a small selection of prints, postcards and so on at the few conventions I visit in Finland and Sweden. I unfortunately don't have the resources or the energy to maintain an Etsy store, Patreon or anything that would require me to handle postage and taxes on my own, so I cannot offer products outside of the odd con here and there. I'm very sorry about that. I wish it were doable but running a store of any kind would require a more stable health situation from me, on top of starting a business of my own, which I don't want to do due to the high risks of entrepreneurship in my country. As much as I love doing art - love it more than anything else in the world - I really don't have what it takes to be self-employed. It's just not worth it in my opinion, unless I want to work myself to another burnout, and the previous one nearly killed me, so I'd rather not. Life is too short spent on something that makes you ill, so from now on I'll try not to stress over my online presence and just draw because it's therapeutic and makes me happier.
See you guys around! I'm flying to Finland next week for a con and to see family and friends.
